I am very pleased and excited to be the co ordinator of the Ballroom Dancing segment in the Canning World Arts Exchange event which will be held on Saturday February 1st from 7pm to 9pm.
It will be held on the Shelley Beach Foreshore, Riverton Drive, Shelley on the outdoor stage and is a free event… so bring your blankets and picnic basket and enjoy the entertainment.
Perfomers include the Fremantle Symphony Orchestra, the UWA Choral Society, the Temple of Fine arts,Indian dancers and drummers, Aboriginal artists and our very own top Western Australian National Dancesport Champions.
For people who have been involved in my numerous “Goodwill Tours ”
to Asian countries : this is a similar event with Indian and Australian performers joining together to present a cultural exchange through music and dance.
There will also be cultural exhibitions and food stalls which will be available from 5pm. AND YES visit our DFDS stall and say “Hi” to Chris and Michael .
