Still having internet connection problems… Had to give up last night at 12 midnight.  ! So will do a quick repeat

Yesterday was very nice, bit chilly, some sun and no rain. I walked Oxford street and the Strand again and was attracted by a 50 piece scottish pipe band playing in the street. A large crowd had gathered and by the time I got a good shot they had finished playing and were “milling around “

I found a terrific Samba/Brazilian Club ,”Guanabara “which was just opening for the day, spoke to the doorman and he let me in to have a look. It has great facilities , 2 huge dance floors, bars ,restaurant cafe and live band and Samba lessons. ( the photo does not do it justice ).

Met 2 old friends, Bill and Maureen, for dinner and they had bought tickets to the play “War Horse ” as a surprise for me. I must admit I would prefer a musical or comedy but I thoroughly enjoyed the play and the puppets were fantastic.

Had a stroll down Drury Lane and then back to the hotel for a cuppa which rounded off another happy day.

Photos later……………….hopefully …..take care everyone…….Daele
