Hi everyone, Initially had some problems using my laptop But up and running now, hopefully. I had a pleasant flight from Prague , I flew with British Airways as Emirates do not have a direct flight. And I must say that Emirates are very superior in my opinion. I am glad I am going home with Emirates. Our flight was delayed due to fog and we arrived 15 minutes late but my transfer was waiting for me and then had a 50 minute ride to the Hotel.
The hotel is very very nice , and Oxford Street is 10 metres away so last evening walked for miles up and down and had a nice spaghetti bol at a typical italian restaurant . Was disappointed with the famous House of Fraser Store as it used to be all fabulous Fraser Tartan “stuff” but now it is a very trendy departmental store Oh well !
The weather is fine , actually the sun is shining , but rain is forecast and it is colder than Prague , but not freezing I have phoned DFDS and AB assures me that everything is fine, but there was a lot of screaming and corks popping in the background ( it was during the Childrens Class ! ! )
We are 8 hours behind……..that it so interesting……isn’t it Some of the shop windows are beautiful and original with very colourful Christmas decorations I will try and post some…….hopefully…….. I have never said hopefully so much in my life ! Chris says just blog as if you were speaking ; don’t construct it so much !!! But it is so disjointed..Sorry about that…I can’t believe that I used to win the composition competitions at school
Have had a lazy morning and now off at 11am….Hope I can continue to blog but maybe this was a fluke !
