Thursday April 12th. Wow all go today. Picked up from the hotel at 9am sharp – 15 mins to venuw which is plain from outside but inside is a very comfortable arena with 2 dance venues. The WDSF 10 Dance Dancesport was the main event and had some fantastic couples, also on the programme was competitions for Juvenile., Junior, Adults and Masters. I was only judging all the WDSF Championships so did not get to see any action in the second arena.
The venue is indeed very nice, great floor and spectacular lighting system. The hospitality is great and the organisation is spot on with lots of helpful assistance. Also absolutely brilliant is the computerized judging system – Its is Fantastic!
Topping off a great show is the wonderful inspiring music. I also prefer that when there are 5 heats, different tunes are played for each heat – more interseting for dancers, spectators and judges. The show finished at 9pm sharp and all VIP’s were taken by coach to the nearby olympic venue for a 3 course meal. Great to relax with fellow judges.
Coach back to the hotel by 10.45pm. CJV ( so precious) is to tired to blog tonight and if I do it it will take until 3am !
